Massive Dominance of Chinese Manufacturers Chinese manufacturers dominated the exhibition, achieving a total accumulated sales of over 21,000 units. Although Toyota (Japan) topped the best-selling list with 6,175 units, BYD led the way in second place with 4,000 units thanks to its BYD M6 electric MPV. Chery followed with 3,500 units (dominated by the Chery Q series), while Wuling secured 3,290 units with its affordable EV lineup. 2. Japan's Hybrid Strategy a Huge Success Fending off the onslaught of Chinese electric vehicles (BEVs), the Japanese giant successfully outperformed the market with its hybrid (HEV) technology. Toyota once again reigned supreme at the exhibition, driven by the Innova Zenix and Veloz Hybrid. Meanwhile, Mitsubishi successfully secured a total of 3,212 sales, of which 1,000 were the new XForce Hybrid. 3.
